Well… This was the very first k-cups that I got for my Keurig machine. The label said that it contained around 10-12% Kona beans. Of course, 10% Kona beans is about what the average uaually is . By the way… I only tried Kona coffee once before when a friend of mine brought me a 1/2 lbs of beans from Hawaii. It was a long time ago and frankly speaking I don’t quite remember how it was. I just remember that I liked it.

Anyway… I kept thinking it was good but not that good until I tried other K-cups. Then I realized this Kona blend is better than regular blends or coffees. Don’t get me wrong. They are still not “Kona” but comparing to other coffee, you can taste that nutty flavor. It’s smoother and distinctive. I got variety packs to test out other k-cups but am happy that I got two boxes of Kona blend. Perhaps next time, I will try other company’s Kona blends and see the difference between Timothy’s and others.
